In response to domestic violence in all forms, from physical abuse to forced marriages to honor killings, a small group of women banded together to, similar to ASHA, address domestic violence in the minority community and to build community awareness.
This powerful documentary presents a forceful analysis of the unique issues that domestic violence victims in the South Asian community face and includes an overview of the attitudinal shifts and cultural competency necessary to understand domestic violence within ethnic communities.
